The laid-back city of Darwin is a great choice for your training course in the tropical north of Australia. The city offers a friendly atmosphere and a range of entertainment and cultural activities that are mostly connected to the outdoor lifestyle that is typical in this part of the country. During your stay you will get to enjoy some of the best sunsets in the region in a city that is famous for its multicultural feel and its rich indigenous heritage.

The training center in Darwin is located at one of the city’s major universities, where you will find lush gardens and birdlife and easy access to the nearby Casuarina beach and nature reserve. Transport in and out of the complex is provided by the locally famous ‘Number 4 Bus’ which offers unlimited travel for only A$7 per week.

The School

The main ethos of the training center in Darwin is to deliver high-quality ELICOS and academic English programs to the ever growing international student population in the city. For over 12 years the center has worked closely with the university to ensure all international students are fully able to pursue their individual study plans.

All teachers and members of the senior management team at the Darwin center have extensive international teaching experience and possess a CELTA or DELTA qualification. Observing the teachers at work in the classroom forms the observation of experienced teachers requirement which is an invaluable part of your overall training experience.

Accommodation

During your course you can take advantage of our recommended student accommodation which offers self-catering facilities and access to a swimming pool in a convenient location. This option is priced at A$262.50 for the 28-days of your stay. Due to the large student and backpacker population in the city you will also find plenty of affordable house-shares and room-lets available on websites such as Gumtree or the facebook group, Darwin Buy Sell Swap Wanted. Airbnb is another great option for short-term stays in the city.

Course fees

The total price is divided into: deposit and balance.

The deposit may be paid via a) credit card b) Paypal c) wire transfer d) Western Union.

Note that the balance of course fees is given in Australian dollars (AUD).

Accomodation Fees

The accommodation fees are not part of the course price and you are free to choose whichever accommodation option you prefer.

If you choose to use our accommodation, it should be paid directly to the school, either by credit card, PayPal or bank transfer, 30 days before you start your course.
