This unit taught me the importance of how a teacher acts in the class, and how much their attitude can impact a students' learning. Teachers should always be encouraging and positive, and never just assume a lesson is easy for students because it may be very challenging for some. Teachers need to use clear instructions for activities so students can fully understand the point of the lesson and how an activity works. They shouldn't just speed through explaining how the activity is going to work. Students will be more likely to be engaged if the teacher creates a more positive and comfortable environment.
