The teaching of individual sounds can be both fun and challenging for the teacher and the students. The activities that we could incorporate into our lessons to reinforce individual sounds are: 1. Your own mouth (The teacher over-emphasizes individual parts of a word, and thus allows students to see as closely as possible exactly what his/her mouth is doing. The teacher should finish pronouncing the word normally. so that students don't come away with a false idea of what is correct.) 2. Visuals (By drawing a diagram of the mouth showing how a particular sound is made.) 3. Tongue twisters ( A great way to practice and improve pronunciation and fluency. They can also help to improve accents by using alliteration, which is the repetition of one sound. They're not just for kids but are also used by actors, politicians, and public speakers who want to sound clear when speaking.)
