This unit was all about pronunciation and phonology. This lesson was extremely interesting because I had to learn and nearly master the phonemic chart for english. It was rather new to me but easy to understand once I studied it. This unit provided examples for teaching stress, intonation and pronunciation as well as all the ins and outs for us native english speakers to fully understand the language before we can teach it. I learned many things that I did not already know about the english language and that just makes it easier for me to be able to teach it to someone else. The lesson is full of charts and visuals that allow me to master the subject, and even provides resources to branch out to for further learning.
