Unit 13 gives understanding of pronounciation and phonology. Pronounciation is as an important but very neglected by teachers and very difficult for non native students field of language study. In this unit we can find information about stress in the words and intonation in sentences. It describes 2 common intonation patterns of English language and some exceptions. Also we get understanding of articulation and manner of articulation (place and way of sounds formation) so we could devide all sounds in groups and teach how to pronounce sounds correctly. Also this Unit describes methods of teaching pronounciation and phonology.
