Unit 13 focused on phonology and showed how words can be properly pronounced. I learnt which parts of a word should be stressed. Intonation showed how the the pitch and volume of the voice changes such as rising and falling or remaining flat. This communicates whether the speaker is asking, stating or wants the listener to respond a certain way.
