Unit 13 covers pronunciation and phonetics, teaching how we speak and explaining how the way we speak can affect the underlying tone of our sentences. This unit teaches stress and intonation, which explains what parts of a sentence or word we emphasize and how it can affect the tone of what we are saying, as well as articulation. This unit gets very technical, explaining the speech organs and where different sounds originate from, which was very interesting.
