Unit 15 explains the reasons for different types of tests and exams during the language study process. Some are applied to check the students understanding, application, problems and development; some are used to identify the level of language proficiency. As a teacher, it is important that we know why certain tests are introduce to our class and that how test results can be used to improve teaching and learning. I also learned from this unit about different types of international standard test, which is helpful in giving advice to students whenever they have questions about what tests or exams to take for certain purposes.
