The materials provided (lesson plan template, ESA methodology, etc) & covered (tenses, grammar, reported speech, etc) by this course have been a wonderful introduction to the world of teaching english abroad. I could list everything I have learned in the process of taking this class, but will suffice to say that this experience has provided me with the necessary tools to be a very effective english teacher. I feel this course has put my mind on the right track, & that rather than this marking the completion of my TEFL training it really marks a stronger beginning. This course is a very effective, & much appreciated, foundation for teaching that I will put in to practice every time I walk into a classroom. I took this course because of my desire to teach english in china while I study Mandarin & try to get at least a fleeting glimpse of what it means to truly live in another country for a time. I am hoping that this experience of language swapping does not end in china, but extends to many other countries down the years as well.
