Classroom management has many components which include the teacher's role and how the classroom is organized. Within the role of the teacher is how the teacher communicates with the students, which include gesturing and the use of the voice. Organizing a classroom includes the use of preparation for lessons, how to organize activities and where to seat students. Finally, the chapter includes dealing with problem behaviors. What I learned most from this chapter is the advantages and disadvantages of the various seating arrangements employed by teachers.
