This unit is interesting because, it talks about class size, setting, and building rapport. When I was in high school I never considered my teachers set up their classroom a particular way for a legit purpose. It is important and sometimes difficult for teachers to balance being liked and being the disciplinary. It is important your students look up to you, admire you, and want to come to class. The worst thing you can do is make it so your students do not want to come to class or do not respect you. Once they do not respect you they stop listening to you.
