Unit 20_ Troubleshooting↵This unit looked at some of the problem situations encountered by teachers and how to handle them. Among the problems are:↵1. First lesson: during a first lesson a teacher is likely to face one of following↵ a. New group: here students themselves are not familiar with each other.↵ b. Existing group: here students may be familiar and comfortable with each other.↵2. Warmers: this refers to activities to enhance the students interest.↵Other problems covered in the unit are large classes, reluctant students, and difficulty in listening text or tape.
