Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. I found the discussion of different types of analyses in a Business English context (e.g., needs analysis, placement tests) to be helpful. Right now I’m teaching English at a hospital (5x1-hour sessions to 5 different departments). With this structure, there’s not a lot of time for needs analysis, but if the hospital asks me to continue on, I will try to plan in a needs analysis lesson for the students. I also found the discussion on post-course feedback to be useful. My last lesson will be next week, and I will try to incorporate this feedback at the end of the class.
