Unit Two covered grammar and usage of grammar in the English language. There is a veritable flood of information pouring out of this unit and I felt like my mind was a teaspoon. The daunting thing was not the number of parts of speech but the many different exceptions and rules concerning the usage. Gerunds in particular are confusing and require careful analysis. While reviewing this unit I tried to keep in mind that I would be teaching the content in real lessons to people or children who are not native English speakers. That perspective helped in how I received the unit.
