Technology can be a huge resource for teachers within World Language classrooms. However, in order for the applications to be useful, it is necessary that teachers understand how to use the various technological devices, setup the devices ahead of time, and have a backup plan should technology fail (it is both a blessing and a curse!). During this unit, the benefits and drawbacks of various methods of technology were discussed. Additionally, sample activities were given with regard to how to use different technological devices (for example, cameras, DVD players, OHP, etc.).
