This unit gave me the opportunity to review the complexities in the world of phonetics. When I was first introduced to this material in my linguistics course of college, my professor explained how the human mouth and vocal chords affect articulation and I believe that this helped the information resonate with me more effectively. Therefore, based upon that learning experience and the suggestions in this unit, I will be certain to explain how the human organs affect our sounds of speech. I also learned various techniques for teaching pronunciation which will serve very useful.
