This lesson contains information about the need for testing ESL students and the different kinds of tests that are available. Since most schools require testing of some sort, it is good to know what kinds of tests are available. As an American, I was fairly familiar with the American tests, but not the tests used in the UK. It was interesting for me to read about this. Also, I think that exams are a source of anxiety for many students, so it is important to consider how we can help them prepare for any required exams in order to give them confidence and a better chance for success.
