Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.
This lesson looked at the various kinds of clients that we could be called upon to teach and some of the unique challenges that come with each. It also outlined various ways to address these challenges and lesson ideas to go along. It was helpful to begin to think about the details of delivering lessons beyond just content and understand some ways to combat the challenges that occur. For example, simply thinking about the difference between working with beginner children and what their needs are, versus beginner adults is helpful in planning to teach.
