This unit helped set me up to be a good teacher. I know that each student, depending on age and language level, will learn differently and by using various techniques. Young learners may have less of an attention span than someone who is a bit older. I felt that the part of unit one that dictates what makes a good teacher is a very important because it shows that it is a combination of things, not just one main trait. A teacher has to be many things...a promoter, model, facilitator..just to name a few and they are of equal importance to be successful.
