I think this unit is an important unit, because often times when we are learning a language, we don't truly realize how many different dimensions there are. For example, you can't truly learn a language just by studying the vocabulary and grammar, and you can't fully understand it just by learning how to speak it. It is also important for students learning English to fully immerse themselves in the language, through newspapers, videos, cultural topics, etc. This allows the students to gain a greater understanding of the language and the usage.
