This TESOL review is from Polina. She is from Greece and recently completed our 120-hour online TEFL/TESOL training course right next to the beach at home. She found the course to be very interesting and learned a lot of new things. She is excited to use her new learned skills at the end of the year when she is going back to the capital city of Athens to work with new clients.

The videos showcased the immense influence that a teacher's attitude has on the students. The videos also highlighted the differences between talking with the students vs. talking at the students. Students don't respond well to condescending, assumptive and discouraging behavior from the teacher. In contrast, students are very receptive to an engaged yet relaxed teacher who makes lessons fun and interesting. Additionally, students will produce better results and are more willing to be challenged when the teacher supports and assists them.
