This unit has taught how a language course could be developed for young learners. I understood that a level testing and needs analysis for the students needs to be done to get an idea of students' previous learning, what they will use English for and group the students accordingly. I also learnt limiting factors for course development and different theories behind syllabus design. Through this unit I learnt about different types of tests and what they are designed to do. I also understood about different English language examinations available at different levels of the students.
