Unit 14 is about coursebook and lesson materials. There are two types of materials than can be used in a lesson. The authentic materials come from programs, magazines, newspaper, songs, videos, etc. They can be geared to the interest of the students, interesting and motivating. The created materials is designed by the teacher as a supplement or replacement from a coursebook. These materials are crosswords, flashcards, pictures, etc. The problem with the coursebook is that it is made for a general used and not cover the problems of a specific group of students.
