In this unit, I have learnt that a teacher has a variety of roles. I have always thought that every teacher is unique, but I learnt that a good teacher needs to have a variety of roles to put into play according to the situation he or she is in. There is also a variety of learners. As a teacher, I should be cautious about and sensitive to the different teaching styles, approaches, encouragements, communication, speed, etc. according to the type of learner. I find it interesting and exciting to learn to figure out which role a teacher has to play according to the learner.
