Modals, phrasal verbs and passive voice are the main concerns of this unit. we learn here that modal auxiliary verbs are used before other verbs to add meaning to the verbs.It could be an obligation,a permission or prohibition,it could be an ability,an advice.Its therefore used to express a certain degree of formality.We also have the two types of voices in English which are the active and passive voice of which we focused mainly on the passive voice.voices which are most frequently used when it is not important,its unknown or we don't want to say exactly who committed the action
