I realize from this unit that there are many rules to grammar that I take for granted as a native speaker. I could read a sentence or a paragraph and be able to edit it instinctively by listening to the flow of the sentence. However, this is not the case for many non native speakers of English. As I revisited grammar in this unit, I realize the importance of rules of grammar and examples to substantiate the rules in teaching English to non native speakers. I learn that practical applications would be most beneficial as I lay these rules in classroom setting.
