Phonology the study of sounds is very interesting.it deals with the physical properties of sound.Stress-the strong word is usually stressed out, intonation is the variation in volume and pitch in the whole sentence where as stress is more concerned with individual words.The teaching techniques for pronunciation are peer dictation, using your own mouth,visuals or mouth diagrams,phonemes and toung twisters.ln a classroom there should be time given for pronunciation,stress and intonation practice so asto make students aware of the importance of accuracy and clarity of communication.
