In this unit useful tips were given for lesson planning. I learnt that a lesson plan helps to guide what you want to impart, it can be used as a reference point and it is a way of keeping a record of what a class has done and the materials that were used. A lesson plan should have learning objectives this is what you want to students to learn by the end of the class, it should also have personal aims, language point, teaching aids, anticipated problems, procedure, phase, timing, interaction, class level, number of students, date/time and teachers' and observers' names.
