This unit covers knowledge about choosing proper teaching materials, such as course books, authentic materials and self-compiled/made ones. It also shows basic criteria when selecting such types of aid. Personally, I feel that the most important message was that a course book isn't the ultimate solution - something which inexeperienced teachers might forget. In other words, a course book can be a fantastic addition to the teaching process, but it shouldn't dominate over other materials. Besides that, this unit showed a nice example of a boomerang ESA lessson focused on roleplaying.
