Tori completed the 120-hour TESOL certificate course as well as the business English course to further her education in English language teaching. This unit discussed the different advantages of learning the theories and methods involved in teaching young learners. It laid out the 50 hour course in a concise and straightforward manner; highlighting what I will be learning in each unit. This unit also gave a general description of what parameters are used to describe a young learner. I was also introduced to the advantages of advancing my certification with this supplementary course and how it will help me professionally with my job searches and resume and how it will improve my lesson planning and creation of a syllabus.
