This unit covers the difficulties that learners can face when approaching English pronunciation. It provides information about intonation and stress, and how those two things can drastically change the aim of a conversation or meaning of a sentence. It also provides detail regarding the anatomical and mechanical formation of sounds (e.g. plosives and alveolar). I've often wondered how one should standardize pronunciation in the classroom, considering how different words with similar spelling can end up being pronounced, so the universal pronunciation section was incredibly helpful.
