The students should feel welcome specially for the beginner for them be feel free in participating the class. The teacher should be warm and approachable but not loose the first lesson should be more on knowing each other. Playing short games related to the topic is much better than being formal on the first day of the class,getting to know each students on the first day is easier for the teacher to have their sitting arrangement later on.
