I have learned how important the correct classroom arrangement can be according to the age of the students and the size of the class. I also learned how important eye contact and gestures are when addressing students and that it is important to know which students work well together while grouping them together for activities to ensure that they participate. I also learned how to deal with discipline issues that may arise in the classroom. I also learned how important it is to establish rapport with the students and how my position, as a teacher, in class can affect the lesson.
