Future tense is the most complex of tenses in the English language. The fact that two present tense forms can also be used to express future ideas requires the teacher to clarify and contrast tense usages. Practice and repetition is useful in enforcing each of the 7 tenses, especially contrasting "going to" future with present continuous, and "going to" future with future simple. Contrasting the usages of the different future tenses can be especially helpful in the Activate exercises, as this will reinforce the usage in practical conversation examples.
