How The Personality of a Teacher Influences Student Growth
The role and responsibilities of a teacher are very complex. Teachers are responsible for making sure their learners acquire the knowledge they need but also achieve their qualification by the end of the course in a safe learning environment, so they have the skills and experience they need to start their careers. To achieve that goal a teacher must be creative, professional, flexible and knowledgeable enough to deal with daily challenges and find different ways to help their learners' needs. Establishing a safe and stimulating environment for learners, creating mutual respect and set goals that stretch and challenge learners of all backgrounds and abilities.

The secret of not making assumptions
The first rule of teaching is "ASSUME NOTHING", this is the most important rule in teaching, as it states teachers must never assume they know everything. They must be updated with every single subject they are teaching, need to know their boundaries, roles, responsibilities and professional values. They have to be aware of changes in policies and rules and be updated with all subjects they are teaching. Teachers are also responsible for updating their knowledge on rules such as Health and Safety at Work, Risk Assessment and Child Protection Guidelines. All teachers are responsible for maintaining a safe learning environment, that not only evolves keeping learners safe form physical, emotional, sexual and neglect abuses but also covers Health and Safety and other policies and procedures. If a student discloses something inappropriate has happened '' You CANNOT promise to keep this information secret or confidential'', you must respond (do not ask questions), record and report it to a student advisor team or your line-manager.

Who is a teacher?
For a newborn baby, his/her mother is the best teacher whereas, for a student, it can be his dance teacher or his/her maths teacher. Anyone who gives you the knowledge and enhances your intelligence can be your teacher. An ant can also be your teacher because it teaches us to work hard continuously without losing hope. All this concludes that a teacher does not have a particular race or religion, who so ever in this world teaches you any kind of lesson, can be your teacher.
Generally, while thinking about teachers, we imagine our school teachers, and all of us have our favorite one, who always encouraged and helped us to attain our goals. It was my English teacher who used to teach us in such a wonderful way, that I started loving literature and decided to make my carrier in this stream. She always encouraged my writing skills and helped me out to make them perfect. Today I am thankful that she was my teacher.

Life is all about learning until the last breath and the person who knows can be a good teacher. It needs lots of courage and knowledge to teach and be in this profession. When a teacher is in a class, he/she has to handle more than thirty students at once and all from different backgrounds and interests.
Just imagine when you alone could irritate your mother so much, then what about other thirty students like you; what would be the level of pressure on a teacher. Hats off to all the teachers and the students who chose teaching as a carrier to shape up the future of the young ones. At least they have chosen something daring and it will not be wrong to say that a teacher builds the future of a nation.
