Why Teachers Should Get TEFL Certified
Waves are crashing around as their feet sink into the wet sand and they take a deep breath of the salty air. They didn’t think it would be possible to travel anywhere or experience anything outside of their country before they retired, but here they are in Spain at the age of twenty-two. They were able to do this because they decided to get a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certification and teach English abroad. There are many reasons someone may decide to work toward this certification. One reason is to be able to travel the world and support themselves anywhere they would like to go. Another reason to get TEFL certified is to supplement a teaching resume and gain new skills as an already existing teacher. The last reason to get TEFL certified, though there are many more, is to inspire, connect, and create a positive impact on students all over the world. Travel The World
Support themselves wherever they are by teaching English as a second language is a good reason. The English teaching industry in many countries such as Spain, China, Thailand, and the Philippines is a growing field with an increasing demand for teachers. This growing need for English teachers around the world makes it relatively easy to obtain a job in almost any country one would wish to travel to. With a TEFL certificate teachers can go to new countries, experience new ways of life, and immerse themselves in cultures they may not have gotten to without the certification. Being able to take care of oneself financially while making lasting memories is an invaluable skill that makes any TEFL course well worth the while.

Networking
Lastly, teachers frequently choose to acquire a TEFL certificate because they desire to inspire people, connect with people, and create a positive impact in the lives of people all over the world. As a TEFL certificate holder, all these things are not only possible but probable. Instructors will meet a wide range of individuals while teaching an English course including aspiring university students, school children, and business executives.
