Although the two lessons from the two videos teaches the same target language, with the same learners and teacher, the participation of the learners is total different. The learners in the first lesson, is confused and talk less. However, in the second lesson, the TTT increases a lot. I think the reason lies on the teacher and the teaching techniques. In the first lesson, the teacher's attitude is impatient disrespectful and manner is rude, which causes the learners confusion and reluctance. However, in the second lesson, the teacher acts amiably, respectfully and engagingly. The learners show more interesting and desire. Also the teaching techniques can affect the understanding of learners. In the first lesson, no good elicitation and mime are adapted in the lesson. But in the second lesson, the teacher is kindly elicit the target language, do a lot of CCQ, instruction and ICQ. With the ESA lesson plan, the learner can better understand the target language and adapt it. All in all, there are good factors that a good lesson is needed. From the two lessons, we can strengthen the good parts, at the same time, avoid the bad parts.
