The demonstration in this unit clearly outlined how to be a better teacher and make sure lessons are successful. The first video was a chaos from the begging. The teacher looked unprepared, unprofessional and it seemed like he didn’t care about what he was doing or whether the students understood. This is totally against the principles of being a good teacher. In the second video, I got to understand the importance of knowing each student’s name, following the lesson plan and not allowing minor distractions like late comers take a lot of time to solve. I also got to understand or learn how to clearly give instructions, encourage students to respond and remain in control of the class. Not once in the second video did the teacher look unprofessional or unprepared. The class was enjoyable and I think the students would have been okay if it it continued for a few more minutes. The opossite is true for the first video.
