I do believe that online education will bring positive impact on globalization for the following reasons. First, a lot of people in the world can receive education through the Internet if only they have an Internet connection. There are some people who cannot receive decent education just because they are poor or physical, geographical, religious, sexual reasons in their own country. However, even such people can receive equal education from all over the world if only they can get rid of some obstacles. It is impossible to completely control the use of Information Technology in any country nowadays. Biased education like brainwashing or dictatorship will gradually be disappeared in the near future, but still education is a key factor for people to make their living and for a country to be a better place to live. Globalization also changes the shape of education. Secondly, people in developing countries can earn decent money by teaching their specialty to people in advanced nations online. Since English has become a universal language, there are a lot of people in developed or financially rich countries who want learn English eagerly. There are some countries which were once colonized by the United States or Britain. Many people in such countries speak English fluently as a native or second language. Teaching English can be a great employment opportunity for such people. More employment opportunities mean more prosperity for the country, and more people in the country will be active in the globalized society in the future. Developing countries and developed countries are now helping each other. Thirdly, people who receive English education also will have more opportunities to be active in global society. Japan is often said that it has not kept pace with the latest globalization. One of the reasons might be the lack of English literacy rate among Japanese. However, online English lessons are booming in Japan now, and the number of Japanese who are proficient in English is rapidly increasing. Since Japan is an island country, it was difficult for many Japanese to learn communicative English.
