unit 8 talks about future tenses and they are used when explaining future plans and events. We often use the future simple to describe things or events that have not been taken place yet. For example, 'I will watch Captain Marvel and it will be exciting and entertaining [The movie's fantastic by the way and you should watch it if you haven't done so already!]. At times, we also use the present tense to talk about the future, such as 'The plane to London leaves at 4:35 in the afternoon.' This sentence serves as a purpose of describing something already fixed and scheduled. What's more, we use the present continuous to talk about arrangements, such as 'We are playing basketball tomorrow.'
