This unit talked about different kinds of learners. Mainly children vs adults. Children and adults have different motivations for being in class and different learning styles. In my experience I have found adults to be much more motivated when it comes to learning. They are usually choosing to be there because they want to be and generally have better attitudes. Very young children (kindergarten) are also generally motivated. The whole school thing is new to them so it's fun and they are excited to be there. Older kids (2nd grade and older) generally aren't as motivated and are only in class because they have to be.
