In this unit I saw the difference between a good and bad English teacher. The first video showed an example of a bad English teacher. The teacher never smiled, spoke most of the time, and did not provide good examples. In the second video, the teacher looked more inviting, provided clear examples, and also involved the students and gave praise when necessary. These two videos taught me that the attitude that you bring to the class greatly influences the learning atmosphere and the mood of the students. It also showed why being prepared is important and that providing examples and materials is a key component to teaching.
