Unit 16 is a grammar lesson on both conditionals and reported/indirect speech. The four conditionals are zero, first, second, and mixed which are used to discuss certainty of two clauses. For example, a zero conditional refers to events that are irrefutable and at the other end is mixed which refers to two hypotheticals. Ways you can split these is to split sentences into halfs and have students rearrange or reorder them. The other part of the lesson dealt with reported versus indirect speech. This transfer back and forth is tricky due to the variety of changes including the pronouns, time shifting, and verb tenses.
