This unit taught me some common problems I might face as a teacher and some ways to deal with those problems. First, I like that this unit covered the first lesson. Establishing good rapport in the first lesson is very important and may effect how I establish rapport in following lessons. It is good to also get to know the students and help them get to know each other, instead of starting with intense drilling exercises. Since I will be teaching a large class, the section covering large classes was also very helpful. It taught me how I can better manage a large class (i.e. use pair work, instead of individual drilling).
