This units describes the qualities a teacher should have to be a good teacher (personal qualities and skills he will need to aquire) and also the different roles a teacher should adopt and the ease to be able to switch from one role to another. The second part of the unit also describes what makes a good learner and the differences between learners. They can be influenced by age, culture, motivation and level. It also gives a level classification of learners (from beginners to advanced) and the correspondance in the European classification system from A1 to C2 and details how each factor can affect the learning process.
