I have never known the real history of language acquisition until I learned it in this unit. I found out about; where the method came from, what does it involve, and the positives and negatives on each method and technique used in teaching language. This unit also gave me a lot of effective ideas and strategies on how to help the learner to succeed in acquiring a targeted language. I've also learned about as a teacher, how I should do correction on the learner's work. This unit gave me a sense of confidence and reference to be a language teacher by knowing the history, methods, techniques, and correction techniques.
