Teaching can be fun and fulfilling if you have a passion to teach and learn how to effectively teach students. An effective teacher is knowledgeable, prepared, caring, passionate and has a keen understanding of how to adapt to all students' learning conditions. A teacher must understand how to use all the proper tenses and convey them accordingly. The english language can be complex for a student who is learning how to use the language as a second language. It's best to engage and/or warm a class up before going into the study mode. That can be done by asking questions and keeping the class to relax. Teachers shouldn't dominate a class. It's a good idea to get the class involve, teacher take control at times, allow the students to interact with each other and put students in groups. You always want to be prepared for back up plans in case there is time left or a lecture isn't effective. Technology is advancing at a rapid rate. A teacher should you tools like, recorders, computers and video cameras within a lesson plan. Lastly, a good teacher is confident and humble. They understand that students will be shy, nervous and hesitant. Nevertheless, a good teacher will manage to find away to grasp their students' attention and teach effectively.
