This unit gave good examples of how to structure lessons in more detail; in particular I appreciated the detailed example of a lesson plan with a blank plan for me to create my own. It’s important to think about multiple factors when planning lessons (class size, class level, relation to previous and past lessons, etc.) so as a beginning teacher having a template to use as a starting point will be very helpful. Flexibility and time estimation are important aspects that will be gained through experience; for beginning teachers who are not able to estimate times as easily or come up with alternate plans on the fly, alternate activities can be built into the plan directly (like how in the example lesson plan, there is an additional activity planned if time permits - making sure the teacher will have enough content).
