This lesson provided an excellent criteria for lesson planning. It expanded on basic principles to adhere to, gave examples of what should be included in a lesson plan, and provided examples of self-evaluation forms for future improvement. A lesson plan should be written down simply and allow for flexibility. There were also many tips for being organized and having a successful lesson, such as making sure to check equipment, arranging the seats before class and being ready to chat with the students as they come in. There was also provision of some excellent and helpful in-class worksheets to better understand lesson-planning.
