The important functions in a lesson plan would be an aid to planning, a working document and a record. Also when writing a lesson make it as simple as possible and should be able to adapt for any changes. Also it is necessary to keep in mind that before starting a lesson the teacher be organized. To have a complete and a fully structured lesson plan, it is recommended to have the following such as; learner objectives, personal aims, language point, teaching aids, anticipated problems, procedure, phase, timing, interaction, class level, number of students, date and time and teacher's or observer's name. Finally, to check teachers's own judgement they can do a self evaluation to analyze their own strengths and weaknesses and how to improve it in their future lessons.
